Love is in the air at GS as the Student Council is doing their annual Carnation fundraiser. Anatalia Cambridge ‘24 is a member of STUCO and is helping to sell carnations. She said that “there is a lot of interest.” Buy for your friends, your favorite teachers, or that special someone. Anatalia also shared that, this year, carnations are being sold for a significantly lower price compared to last year. The Student Council is offering three colors for the flowers: pink, red, or white. You could also pay an extra three dollars for a “Cupid Delivery”, which entails having someone deliver your carnations to classes while blasting love songs. But, if that’s not your style, mailbox deliveries are available for no extra charge. And, for faculty, there’s a special discount. Anatalia explained that  the profits made from selling carnations will “[be put] towards student council weekend.”  So be sure to buy your carnations and support your Student Council.
